The Clareview Multicultural Centre Collective Kitchen Training Program is a collaborative project presented by the Nyarkenyi Development Foundation of Alberta (NDFA), the City of Edmonton, and Alberta Health Services. This program aligns with Nyarkenyi’s mission to create community-based initiatives that will contribute to improved food security, family nutrition, financial literacy, English language speaking skills, and general life skills, foundational to successful and meaningful integration into Edmonton’s civic and social life. The program will also build on the success and learnings of a collective kitchen pilot program undertaken with the KARA Family Resource Centre from January 2014 to June 2025.
